- Why do you wish to join the National Guard?: I feel obligated to serve, and this seems like the most straightforward path to fulfill that duty, so I want to join the National Guard. While I want to protect the nation, I also want to support my state in times of need. I'm dedicated to the training, I'm up for the task, and I can't think of a more fulfilling way to help.
It's a special way to make a real, direct difference in the community where I grew up while yet responding to the call of the country when necessary. - What makes you different than other candidates?: I believe my unique combination of skills sets me apart. I'm good with weapons and vehicles, but I rely just as much on my ability to be patient and consider things thoroughly.
