I???ve spent a lot of time around the San Andreas area, and I really care about the people and the environment here. For a while now, I???ve been involved in different volunteer efforts, and honestly, that work taught me a ton about being quick on my feet and helping neighbors. But after seeing the real need firsthand, I'm tired of just doing basic volunteer work. I know I have more to offer. My motivation is to stop being just a volunteer and become a proper Cadet to get the actual training and structure I need to serve the city officially and do this job right.
Describe with your own words, what does it mean to be a Firefighter or alternatively, a Paramedic [Minimum 50 words]:
???To me, being a Firefighter isn't about being a superhero; it's about being reliable. It means being the person who can walk into a situation that everyone else is running from, keeping your head straight, and getting the job done fast. It means sacrificing your own time and comfort because you know someone out there is having the worst day of their life, and they are counting on you to show up and fix it. It's about being trained and ready, no excuses.
