Growing up, I watched my dad, a dedicated and compassionate doctor, work tirelessly every day to help others and make a difference in people's lives.
Unfortunately, his life was taken by gang violence, which deeply affected me and fueled my desire to create positive change.
Joining the San Andreas Fire Department is my way of giving back to the community, protecting lives, and honoring my father's legacy by serving with courage, dedication, and compassion.
i want to be someone who makes a difference, helps those in need, and works to prevent tragedies like the one that took my father from me.
Describe with your own words, what does it mean to be a Firefighter or alternatively, a Paramedic [Minimum 50 words]:
Being a paramedic means more than just giving medicine or helping in emergencies. Its about staying calm in crazy situations, being there for people when they need help the most, and making quick decisions that can save lives.
It???s a tough job but also really rewarding because you get to make a difference in someone life when they need it the most.
