Highly Motivated Applicants (HMA)
San Andreas Police Department Direct Entry Program

Overview
The San Andreas Police Department is now accepting applications through its Highly Motivated Applicants (HMA) Program.

The HMA Program is designed for individuals who have demonstrated prior service and experience within the Sheriff's Department (SD), Highway Patrol (HP), Fire Department (FD), or National Guard (NG) and wish to continue their career with the San Andreas Police Department.

Qualified applicants may be considered for direct appointment into the San Andreas Police Department as a Police Officer I (P1) without completing the standard entry process.

Applicants must possess a verifiable service record and successfully complete a short evaluation conducted by SAPD Supervisory Staff.
Direct Entry
The HMA Program provides experienced personnel with an opportunity to transition into the San Andreas Police Department while recognizing their previous service and experience.

Applicants who meet the required standards may be appointed directly as a Police Officer I (P1).

Direct entry is not automatic. Each applicant will be reviewed individually by Supervisory Staff to determine whether their previous experience, conduct, activity, and overall suitability meet the standards expected of an SAPD officer.

The evaluation may include an interview, review of service history, knowledge assessment, and general suitability evaluation at the discretion of Supervisory Staff.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must have prior service with the Sheriff's Department (SD), Highway Patrol (HP), Fire Department (FD), or National Guard (NG).
  • Must be in good standing within their previous department or have no significant disciplinary concerns.
  • Must demonstrate strong roleplay and professionalism.
  • Must demonstrate maturity, integrity, and sound judgment.
  • Must maintain consistent activity and commitment.
  • Must successfully complete the required evaluation conducted by SAPD Supervisory Staff.
Supervisory Evaluation
All HMA applicants must complete a short evaluation conducted by SAPD Supervisory Staff.

The purpose of the evaluation is to determine whether the applicant is capable of transitioning into the San Andreas Police Department and meeting departmental expectations.

The evaluation may consider:
  • Previous service and experience.
  • Roleplay ability and professionalism.
  • Understanding of law enforcement procedures.
  • Communication and decision-making.
  • Activity and commitment.
  • Overall suitability for SAPD service.
Applicants who successfully pass the evaluation may be appointed as a Police Officer I (P1).
How to Apply
Applying through the HMA Program is simple.
