SHERIFF DEPARTMENT

EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION

EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION
1. PERSONAL INFORMATION
  1. Name: Buford Sprunkwood
  2. Age: 37
  3. Gender: Male
  4. Date of Birth: 16/06/1989
  5. Place of Birth: Bone County, San Andreas, United States
  6. Height: 6'4"
  7. Weight: 302 lbs
  8. Tattoos: Yes
2. LEGAL DOCUMENTS
  1. Do you have a valid U.S. passport?: Yes
  2. Do you have a valid driving license?: Yes
  3. Do you have a valid weapon license?: Yes
3. SKILLS AND MOTIVATION
  1. Personality Traits:
People usually describe me as a calm, level headed, and dependable person. I don't believe every problem needs to end with someone in handcuffs, and I'd rather spend a few extra minutes talking than a few extra hours filling out paperwork. I take my job seriously, but I don't take my life too seriously as I'm more of an adventurous guy.

I value honest work, loyalty, and last but not least common sense. If someone treats me with respect, they'll get the same in return, and if they don't, I won't lose my temper over some petty squabbling, I just won't waste much time entertaining foolishness.

As for my negative trait, I might be a little too skeptical and blunt at the time of need, but the good news is I'm somewhat overly cautious because I believe having an extra look at things won't be problematic at all.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure about it, because I’ve learned that rushing a decision usually just leads to bureaucracy and paperwork later.
  2. Skills and Abilities:
    1. Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution.
    2. Defensive and pursuit driving under stressful conditions. (Indubitably good at this one, because I'm a retired long haul trucker.)
    3. Good situational awareness.
    4. Ability to remain calm under pressure because of my unending patience.
    5. Team oriented and able to work effectively with partners and other emergency services.
    6. Familiar with writing concise, legible, and accurate reports.
    7. Physically capable of handling demanding patrol duties and prolonged shifts. I'm able to pull an all nighter too.
    8. Precise tactical decision making, experienced through years of witnessing disagreements outside the saloon around the high noon in the "wild" Bone County.
    9. Strong intuition, years in Bone County taught me that liars answer the questions you haven't asked yet.
    10. Reliable and punctual, I believe people should be able to count on my word as much as my work.
  3. Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Sheriff's Department?
I've never doubted that wearing a badge makes someone more important than everyone else, I'm sure about it. To me, it simply means accepting the responsibility of serving the people around you and doing the job to the best of your ability, thus making the dear sheriff deputies existence much more important in both rural and city environment society. The San Andreas Sheriff's Department represents that kind of responsibility and the justice urge, and that's exactly why I want to be a part of it, indubitably.

I enjoy working along with people, solving problems, and keeping situations under control without unnecessary force. In my opinion, a good deputy isn't measured by how many arrests he makes, but by his judgment, professionalism, and ability to remain calm when others cannot. There will always be moments where force is necessary, but I believe those moments should be the exception rather than the rule.

I also appreciate the structure, discipline, and teamwork that come with working in law enforcement. Knowing that the person beside you is someone you can rely on is just as important as being someone others can rely on in return.

Lastly, I believe my patience, communication skills, and practical approach to difficult situations make me a good fit for the Sheriff's Department. I understand that the job comes with long hours, difficult decisions, and plenty of paperwork, which, unfortunately, doesn't fill itself out but that's simply part of the responsibility that comes with the badge. If given the opportunity, I intend to serve the citizens of San Andreas with integrity, professionalism, and common sense.
  4. What do you hope to contribute to the San Andreas Sheriff's Department?
If accepted, I hope to contribute by being a dependable deputy that both the department and the public can rely on. I believe the Constitution is just as valuable as experience, and I'd rather earn a reputation for making sound decisions than for making dramatic ones.

I also hope to contribute to a professional working environment by treating my fellow deputies with respect, communicating effectively, and being willing to step in whenever an extra pair of hands is needed. Good teamwork keeps people safe, and it usually keeps the paperwork shorter too.

Beyond that, I hope to be the kind of deputy who helps maintain the Sheriff's Department's reputation through fairness, patience, and good judgment. I'd like to leave every shift knowing I made the county a little safer than when I clocked in even if the only thing I successfully chased that day was a loose moose on the road or dealing with someone who insisted the beer in their hand wasn't the sole reason they couldn't keep their vehicle between the lines.
4. DECLARATION - CONTRACT LINK
I, Buford Sprunkwood, hereby acknowledge that I have read, understood and agree with the terms of the contract. I agree to abide by the Department's rules and guidelines. I agree to serve the Department and protect the Citizens of San Andreas.
5. OUT OF CHARACTER
  1. Discord Name: highwaymxn
  2. Country: IRAN
  3. Timezone: UTC+03:30
  4. Include the groups you're currently part of: [EDITED] National Guard (B. Sprunkwood) | Federal Bureau of Investigation (M. Winchester)
  5. Do you have any prior law enforcement or emergency services experience? If yes, please elaborate: Throughout my time on Valrise, I've spent the majority of my career in law enforcement. I served for nearly six years with the FBI/HRT, over a year in the San Andreas Police Department's Detective Bureau, more than three years in the National Guard, and nearly a year with the San Andreas Highway Patrol.
  6. Do you have any additional information or comments you'd like to share about your application?: Thank you for considering my application. I believe my previous law enforcement experience has given me a solid understanding of professional roleplay, teamwork, and faction expectations. If given the opportunity, I look forward to contributing to the Sheriff's Department and continuing the path of never ending law enforcement experience.
