Alternatively, being a Firefighter goes far beyond extinguishing blazes. It means standing as an all-hazards first responder trained to rescue people from dangerous confinement, mitigate hazardous materials, and protect property. It requires immense physical strength, continuous mental readiness, and an unwavering commitment to serving the community on their worst possible days.
