Dear US Coast Guard Recruitment Team,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in joining the United States Coast Guard. My aspiration to serve stems from the admiration of the Coast Guard's diverse responsibilities, which encompasses maritime safety, national security, and environmental protection, most importantly the responsibility to protect the nations sovereign waters from threats.

Being a seafarer, with a rank of Chief Officer on various merchant vessel, I develop a strong connection to the ocean and keen awareness of its importance. And I am particularly drawn to the Coast Guard's humanitarian efforts, such as search and rescue operations, and its role in safeguarding our nation's sovereign waters. The opportunity to directly contribute to this to these important missions in harmony with what i stand for.

I am confident in my seafaring skills and my dedication aligns well with the Coast Guard's requirements . I am eager to embrace the future challenges and responsibilities that will soon to come with serving in this esteemed organization. And I am prepared to commit myself fully to the Coast Guard's values of honor, respect, and devotion to duty.
