What are you motivations for joining the San Andreas Fire Department? [Minimum 50 words]
My motivation in joining the SAFD is to assist fellow agencies in quickly and coordinated firefighting in buildings, forests, and vehicles. Beyond extinguishing fires, I'm motivated to save lives in dangerous situations such as traffic accidents, natural disasters, and, most frequently, shootings.
In light of this, I'm also interested in learning and understanding more about this department, such as better understanding firefighting procedures, evacuation procedures, and uncommon first aid procedures.
Describe with your own words, what does it mean to be a Firefighter or alternatively, a Paramedic [Minimum 50 words]:
In my opinion, both have the same primary responsibility: saving lives.
Other duties of both agencies include:
The Fire Department is responsible for handling fires, evacuations, and providing non-fire emergency response, such as handling fallen power lines, fallen trees, and so on.
The Medical Department has other duties besides saving lives. These include providing patient care in hospitals, providing health checks, creating and maintaining medical records for both inpatients and outpatients, and conducting surveillance for diseases and epidemics.
