3. SKILLS AND MOTIVATION
- Personality Traits: I'm a very outgoing person. I love going hiking and exploring new places. I'd describe myself as a kind, wholehearted person who always looks out for others.
I can work well in a team or on my own. I tend to pick new tasks up rather quickly, due to my confidence to learn new things and willingness to learn.
One of my weaknesses is that I struggle to look after lots of people at once. I used to work in a warehouse and when I had 10 new workers I was in charge of, I felt overwhelmed and struggled to take care of them. - Skills and Abilities: I learnt to drive from a young age as my dad brought me up on a farm and took me out driving his truck. I enjoy driving, and was recently working as a trucker.
I believe my driving skills may help me in the SASD.
I also hold a valid Firearms license, and go to gun clubs around San Andreas as a hobby.
I am also a good listener and can pick things up quickly. My communication skills through life experiences will be able to help me in the SASD. - Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Sheriff's Department? I wish to join the San Andreas Sherrif's Department because it is something that has always interested me as a child. Growing up in Red County, I used to see Sheriff's and deputies driving around the state looking after everyone and I thought, I hope that can be me one day.
I find that previous jobs I've had since the age of 14 have been very mundane, and I am looking for something different. Something that will be able to make me feel accomplished which is why I think the SASD is the perfect job for me.
I have volunteered as a police officer for the SAPD and enjoyed it thoroughly. I think the SASD has always interested me more because of the locations of patrols, countryside, desert etc (because I grew up in Red County).
I've seen how professional SASD are at doing their jobs and I really want that to be me one day. - What do you hope to contribute to the San Andreas Sheriff's Department? I hope to contribute my skills as a good listener, communicator and hard worker who isn't shy to take on any task given.
I'm not sure how wide I'd want to branch out or what role exactly, but eventually I'd like to be able to learn everything and work my way up the ranks.
I want to make San Andreas a better place, and I can confidently say that by hiring me, I would try my hardest in doing so.
