I have always wanted to join the Coast Guard because it combines service with purpose in a way that matters to me. Growing up near tje sea, I have always felt drawn to the sea and used to play near it when i was a kid but I want that connection to mean something beyond myself, and what gets me is the mix saving lives, stopping drug runners or dealers, protecting the environment.That kind of work does not bore me, infact it drives me.
I also need the challenge too. The training is going to push me hard physically and mentally. I want to find out what I'm made of and prove I can handle it. And i also want a career that demands everything I've got and gives me something worth waking up for. The Coast Guard fits that. I'm ready to earn my place and do the work.
