Joining the United States Coast Guard is a unique agency to work in the line of water defense.

Serving in the Coast Guard is different they don't work in air or on land. Their main purpose is to maintain law in waterways and there are many ways they protect it with their professional experience, working day and night to ensure it's safe everywhere.

Another thing about working in the coast guard is that it's not easy as it sounds because it requires strength, courage, teamwork, bravery and the ability to act in emergencies all of which make me fit as I have the skills and experience needed for operating on water.

I will not pretend I know everything or that I am the best as I have seen USCG in action and I know the challenges are harsh such as search and rescue, protecting marine life, threats and illegal activities.

I can tell you that I will respond when needed and work harder to protect the waterways, serve the people and never give up. Each work will make me stronger and more capable of completing missions.
