State of San Andreas v. Troy Familia
I. OPENING STATEMENT
The Legal Counsel of the San Andreas Police Department has assigned Senior Detective Steven Collin for this prosecution against Mr. Troy Familia.
Your Honor,
On the basis of an ongoing CID investigation into illegal weapons trafficking and drugs trafficking the Detective Bureau conducted multiple undercover operations and follow-up search warrants targeting a weapons distribution network operating within Los Santos.
During an undercover operation, CID detectives observed Troy Familia acting as a supplier and handler of RPG weapon cases, coordinating deliveries through intermediaries and directly providing illegal weaponry. His involvement was further confirmed during a search warrant operation approved by Chief of Police Kacper Kowalski, executed in collaboration with SWAT units.
On execution of the warrants, CID and SWAT raided two properties owned by Troy Familia, including Property NR. 976, which resulted in the discovery of a large-scale weapons and contraband storage. The quantity and variety of illegal items seized clearly indicate intent to distribute and active participation in organized weapons trafficking.
All evidence was lawfully obtained, documented, and secured under proper chain-of-custody procedures. The prosecution will demonstrate that Mr. Troy Familia knowingly possessed, stored, and facilitated the distribution of illegal weapons, explosives, narcotics, and related criminal equipment.
During the search, detectives discovered the following:
