What are you motivations for joining the San Andreas Fire Department? [Minimum 50 words]
My motivation for becoming a medic was the loss of many innocent lives during my time with the police department. Therefore, I wanted to reduce the city's rising death toll and provide emergency assistance to those in their final stages of life.
I was also deeply inspired by the work methods and rescue methods I experienced in the police department. This was especially true for the tactical division, which has a Medic-Evacuation unit. This motivated me to learn more about first aid and assist those in their final stages of life.
Describe with your own words, what does it mean to be a Firefighter or alternatively, a Paramedic [Minimum 50 words]:
In my opinion, the Firefighters are a unit within the medical department that focuses more on handling fires such as forest fires, house fires, and property fires. This unit also handles traffic incidents, such as collapsed poles or accidents requiring fire response.
Furthermore, I think the Paramedics have a very demanding task. This unit must maintain professionalism and commitment to saving the injured. In my opinion, this unit puts its own lives at risk when faced with an active shooter situation to save a victim or the lives of innocent bystanders.
