A. Letter of interest: why do you want to join San Andreas Highway Patrol? (150 words)
I've arrived in the United States from Italy around ten years ago and since then I've been hopping around jobs, trying to find something that would allow me to be of service to others and also provide for a livable income. I've went through jobs such as waiter and courier, all the way to bus driver at times. Everything had some level of "service to others" but always with some limitation here and there. My impact was not expandable and it was very circumscribed.
One day I had met an ex-colleague that went on to work for the Highway Patrol and when I found out about his daily tasks and how he feels tired but very satisfied at the end of his shift, I was suddenly interested. I researched more on my own and obtained as much information as possible from this ex-colleague, and the Highway Patrol really sounded like the perfect fit for me. It'd allow me to give all of myself to the service of others while making the most of the various defensive driving skills I've acquired in my years of driving different types of vehicles for my jobs. Having also moved to Las Venturas recently to care for my elder relative, I decided to make the jump and apply for the SAHP.

I'm a dependable, easy-going but strict when needed person that doesn't step back when the going gets tough. I'm capable of withstanding considerable stress and I can communicate properly with various types of public thanks to my experience in the public service. I am also a safe driver, well trained in defensive driving skills and capable to maintain a cool head behind the wheel.
