To be a part of a team that focuses on saving lives. The fire department has a humble and prestigious mission that makes me eager to pursue a career here. Been hanging around at the fire department and the staff has been really keen to show me the ropes and feel welcomed even as a Volunteer.

To be brave, confident, professional and caring. It's part of a core institution of any city focusing on saving lives and belongings without looking at race, age, sexual orientation, or anything else. We go in places that others run away from. We don't ask questions, we serve. That's what it means to me.
