I want to join San Andreas Fire Department to serve, protect, and give back to the community. I have always been inspired by the bravery and commitment of paramedics, and I want to bea member of a team that truly impacts peoples lives. The SAFDs reputation for professionalism and excellence really struck me, in a world of excellence, and I cannotwait to contribute to that excellence. Im also attracted to the challenge of the job both physically and mentally and I feel that the training and the experiences here will force a lot of growth on me while I canalso help many individuals in crucial moments.
Describe with your own words, what does it mean to be a Firefighter or alternatively, a Paramedic [Minimum 50 words]:
It entails a paramedic being a very trusted medical professional, who would be called on to respond to emergencies and administer lifesaving care in the same location. It requires even more of sharp and quick thinking, sound medical knowledge, and has to maintain composure under pressure. The paramedic is often life or death ,care, comfort, and hope at least when needed most.Being alone in the crowd involves strong emergency care and risk-taking qualities of an able and qualified paramedic. It demands quick thinking and the presence of a strong medical knowledge base, which should go hand in hand with composure under pressure conditions.
