1.INTRODUCTION
To the honorable court,
The San Andreas Sheriff’s Department (“Plaintiff”) brings this action against Miles Ancelotti (“Defendant”) for breach of a binding employment agreement.
On July 14 2025, the defendant, Miles Ancelotti, was accepted into the San Andreas Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff Trainee.
Upon acceptance, the defendant signed an employment agreement which stipulated that:
- The trainee must serve a minimum of 30 days following training completion.
- Early termination of service requires payment of a training reimbursement tax of $150.000, designed to cover department expenses invested in the trainee’s recruitment and training.
- The defendant resigned from the department on July 28 2025, prior to fulfilling the 30-day service requirement, and has refused to pay the contractual tax despite repeated notices.
1.Existence of a Binding Agreement
The defendant entered into a formal agreement with the department upon employment, acknowledging the 30-day minimum service clause and the obligation to pay the tax if leaving early.
CONTRACT

The defendant voluntarily resigned before completing the 30-day period, triggering the contractual tax requirement.
Breach of Agreement

Despite official notices, the defendant failed to make payment, thereby committing a continued breach of agreement.
Refusal of payment

The department incurred direct financial costs for the defendant’s training, recruitment processing, and administrative onboarding, which the tax was meant to recover.
