The SAHP Academy is revered worldwide. All SAHP Cadets go through the same elite training. The SAHP is a very diverse agency that performs many different duties ranging from patrolling the Highways to protecting the President. Some special SAHP assignments include, but are not limited to, Air Operations, motorcycle patrol and Special Response Team, to mention a few.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To become a San Andreas Highway Patrol Cadet, you need to meet several requirements including age, citizenship, education and a clean criminal record.

- You must be at least 21 Years old, not older than 38 at the time of appointment.
- You must be a U.S. Citizen or in the process of becoming a citizen.
- You must have at least a High school diploma or GED.
- Clear background history and must not have been convicted by the court to ensure suitability of law enforcement duties.
- You must have a valid driver's license, weapon license and passport.
- Basic knowledge of the State laws.
- Applicant must be able to understand basic English in speaking and writing.
- Prior law enforcement experience is not required but may be advantageous.
- Ability to work as part of a team and alone when It's required.
- Applicant must be open and dedicated, they must be able to take commands from their colleagues, and/or commanding officers.
- Applicant must be ready to serve anywhere in the state of San Andreas.
- ((Applicants may not apply to SAHP using a character that is currently affiliated with SAPD.))
Each application will be processed carefully and accurately by the staff of Highway Patrol. Applicants, whose letters turns out to be elected, will be contacted by personally by the SAHP representative. Bear in mind, application process could turn out to be long-lasting.
