I. OPENING STATEMENT
To the honourable court,
The State of San Andreas has appointed Elliot Reynolds as their legal representative for this case.
On 16th May, 2025, Mrs. Lynch (referred to as the defendant) posted a tweet claiming Deputy Mark Garrick from the SASD was suspended from the Sheriff's Department simply for “getting kidnapped.” She also claimed that the department punished him while rewarding officers who "violate rights" and "abuse power".
This statement was misleading. While Deputy Garrick was kidnapped, there is more context to the whole situation. Mrs. Lynch removed the full context to intentionally make it seem like the department was making unfair decisions.
The defendant used a messed up version of the story to paint the SASD as corrupt and heartless. These false accusations harm the reputation of the department and the people in it.
Instead of posting the full story, Mrs. Lynch took this as an opportunity to cause reputational damage to the department, presumably for personal interests.

IV. CLOSING STATEMENT
Mrs. Lynch has caused major reputational damage to the SASD with this defamatory post. We trust that the court deliver justice and hold the defendant accountable for this.
Signed,
Elliot Reynolds, State Licensed Attorney.
Chuck Clayton, San Andreas State Governor.
