Being a paramedic means delivering immediate medical care at the scene of an emergency which includes assessing patients and providing life-saving procedures and stabilizing them for transport, offering comfort and reassurance to the patients and their families during their distress, this job can be physical and emotional demanding, paramedics need to be resilient, both physically and mentally, to cope with the demands of the job and the trauma they may encounter.
