I. OPENING STATEMENT
The San Andreas Police Department has assigned Mr. Martin Winchester for this prosecution against Mr. Mike Legend.
Your Honor, today we bring forward the case of State of San Andreas v. Mike Legend, a case that exemplifies a blatant disregard for the law and a dangerous threat to our community. Mike Legend, henceforth known as the Defendant, is not new to this courtroom or to the crimes for which he stands accused. He is a repeat offender and was previously convicted for the same crimes. Yet, despite facing the full weight of justice in the past, Mr. Legend appears remorseless in his actions, proving that he has no intention of abiding by the law.
The Detective Bureau of San Andreas Police Department, through a thorough and careful undercover investigation has managed to build a case that leaves no room for doubt. Evidence gathered through internal and external assets led to the issuance of a search warrant and this warrant was promptly executed, revealing two properties, located in remote regions of Tierra Robada and El Quebrados, which were exclusively designed for indoor cannabis plantation which has a single illegal purpose of: the mass production of Cannabis Sativa.

Furthermore, Mr. Mike Legend has greatly accumulated the rate of criminality in the state, it is evident from his previous conviction in the following precedent "[CV-0093] United States of America v. Mike Legend" to the current prosecution against him. Evidence will show that he continues to illegally produce cannabis on a massive scale through the production line of the said properties, regardless of renting out these properties to other people to have revenue for his illegal operations. These operations are not small or accidental as they are calculated and methodically organized so that his properties resemble a continuous manufacturing line, minimally producing 1,000 grams of Cannabis Sativa every 24 hours from each production line. This plan of operation is designed to maximize production while evading the law but evasion has a limit and today that limit has been reached. The properties with indoor cannabis plantation design are Nr. 646 and Nr. 645, El Quebrados, Tierra Robada.

In a heinous display of greed and disregard for the environment of our nature and the law, Mr. Mike Legend was found to be in possession of endangered aquatic animals, cruelly kept in awful condition. This shocking discovery highlights his sincere willingness to exploit even the most vulnerable species all in the name of profit.

Your Honor, we shall see evidence that portrays a clear picture of an individual who has prioritized profit over the rule of law, who has exploited resources to perpetuate criminal activity, and who has chosen to continue down a path of lawlessness despite prior consequences. The prosecution will present the evidence gathered below the third section, including the undercover operation details to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Mr. Mike Legend is guilty of the charges brought before this Court.
