StreetWise News v. The Los Santos Network

I. OPENING STATEMENT
To the Honourable Court,

StreetWise News have chosen Derek C. Holloway as their legal representative for this case.

The false and defamatory information that once again The Los Santos Network has published about my client is the reason for our presence here. Just one week after they were sued for the exact same thing. The reckless propagation of baseless, harmful claims becomes outright deliberate, directed towards putting the reputation and credibility of StreetWise News at risk. Presentation of clear evidence would, therefore, prove the defendant's actions as well as the harm done.Rather simple facts: Truth is what matters and Los Santos Network shall take accountability.

II. EVIDENCE
Propaganda posted by "The Los Santos Network"

III. DEMANDS
  • 3 months injunction of posting news
  • Compensation of $1,750,000 United States Dollars to the Plantiff's Attorney (Private account)#944
  • A public apology to the founder's e-mail ((discord pm))

IV. CLOSING STATEMENT
The Los Santos Network is shamelessly void of truth, broadcast hearsay and defamation which meddled with the reputation and credibility of StreetWise News. Even after being taken to court last week, they opted to continue this malicious behavior, indicating that it was no accident but a deliberate act.

Evidence is clear, and harm to my client cannot be contested, and so, this court is called upon to hold The Los Santos Network answerable and send a clear message that such acts of misconduct will not be tolerated. Thank you.

CASE # CV-0124
HONORABLE JUDGE PRESIDING:
Martin Winchester

The First Judicial District Court recognizes this civil case as submitted by StreetWise News, henceforth the Plaintiff. We recognize Mr. Derek Holloway as the legal counsel for the Plaintiff. Let it be recognized that the court has assigned this case ID # CV-0124.

To the Defendant:
The Los Santos Network has forty-eight (48) hours to confirm whether a legal counsel will represent them or they intend to defend themselves in this case. If a legal counsel has been hired, please have them reply to this court communique with their details. (( Please forum PM me if there's a particular reason as to why this timeframe is unreasonable ))

To the Plaintiff:
You have the next 48 hours to provide this court with a witness list that you intend to call upon.

State of San Andreas
First Judicial District Court
United States Courthouse
3321 Downtown Avenue, Los Santos, San Andreas
StreetWise News
v.
The Los Santos Network
CASE # CV-0124
HONORABLE JUDGE PRESIDING:
Martin Winchester

I. FINDINGS:
The First Judicial District Court acknowledges the witness list submitted by the Plaintiff's legal counsel, which is notably devoid of any listed names. The Court views this as a potential indication of the Plaintiff's lack of seriousness in adhering to the Court's directive followed by informal language.

The Court also acknowledges that The Los Santos Network, henceforth referred to as the Defendant, has appointed Mr. Darius Tanz as their legal counsel for this trial.

The Plaintiff's opening statement and the evidence submitted thus far profoundly fail to substantively support the accusation of "The false and defamatory information publication" by the Defendant. In the absence of solid and admissible evidence, the Court cannot yet find grounds to proceed with the Plaintiff's case as presented.

The previous civil case "Piper Lynch v. The Los Santos Network" was ruled in favor of Ms. Piper Lynch, StreetWise News journalist, against The Los Santos Network. However this does not automatically determine guilt in the current case, but it does suggest a pattern of behavior that could demonstrate intentional malice on the Defendant's part if the defamatory nature of the current publication is established.

II. ORDERS:
An unequivocal note to all parties: This Court does not condone nor tolerate any conduct that could be perceived as contemptuous behavior towards the Court. All parties are reminded of their obligation to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and decorum throughout this legal proceeding. Let this serve as the Court's first and final warning on this matter.

Furthermore, the Plaintiff must demonstrate their claims through annotations and provide supporting evidence to establish that the allegations in question are false, harmful, and not shielded as protected opinions under Section I, Article I: The Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution.

To the Plaintiff:
  • The Plaintiff is hereby granted an additional 48 hours 24 hours to confirm the validity of the submitted evidence, as the Court has yet to receive a validated evidence evaluation report.
(( This is just an example but the evidence will be considered valid if the article was posted on the "In-Character > [IC] News board section" of the Valrise forum. If it is confirmed to be an In-Character post in any sort of publication, the Plaintiff must submit either a screenshot or a link to the said article as proof. ))
  • The Plaintiff may present their supplementary annotations and any relevant evidence after the validation of the provided evidence.

Signed,
Hon. District Judge Martin Winchester

State of San Andreas
First Judicial District Court
United States Courthouse

StreetWise News
v.
The Los Santos Network
CASE # CV-0124
HONORABLE JUDGE PRESIDING:
Martin Winchester

I. FINDINGS:
The Court acknowledges the Plaintiff's submission of evidence alleging that the Defendant, The Los Santos Network, published an article relevant to this case. However, following the Court's independent evidence evaluation the referenced article is no longer present on The Los Santos Network's website (www.tlsn.com) (( TLSN Discord Server )). This absence raises serious concerns regarding the potential alteration of evidence or fraudulent fabrication of evidence which could subsequently hinder the proper administration of the Court's proceedings. Should it be proven that any involved party has committed such crimes, the matter at hand may escalate from a civil case to a criminal proceeding. Evidence tampering, Fraud, or Obstruction of justice are serious criminal offenses under state law and may fundamentally redirect the course of this proceeding as such transgressions fall outside the scope of a "civil case" dispute.

(( newspappers channel could be considered as an IC channel, this decision was made by the management team (Sauron & Co.) ONLY on this particular case. ))

II. ORDERS:
The Court issues the following warning to both parties: If either party committed the following crimes (SA-PSC § III.5. Fraud, SA-PSC § II.11. Tampering with evidence, SA-PSC § II.10. Obstruction of justice) by any means and intention after the initiation of this proceeding, they are strongly urged and highly recommended to immediately submit an affidavit of admitting to such crimes. Any voluntary admission may be taken into account of commutation by the Court in determining further consequences.

To the Plaintiff:
You may submit additional supplementary evidence during the appraisal phase to further prove that the article in question was published and then disappeared after filing this case against the Defendant.

To the Defendant:
You are ordered to file a formal response to this Court within the next 48 hours of this order to address the status of the article in question. Specifically, you must clarify whether the article was ever published and, if whether it was removed. Your response must include verifiable documentation such as internal journalist logs, website logs, records, or other relevant evidence.

SO ORDERED.

In an era where trust in media is paramount, accusations against our organization of fraud and dissemination of fake news strike at the heart of what we stand for. We take these allegations seriously and are committed to addressing them transparently and thoroughly. Our dedication to truth, accuracy, and ethical journalism remains unwavering, and we firmly reject any claims that challenge these principles without substantiated evidence.
our news company has upheld rigorous editorial standards designed to ensure factual reporting.

The Los Santos Network CEO removed the article after receiving a direct threat from the StreetWise News Supervisory Ray.

**Darius would eventually continues his speech after providing the evidence**
The Los Santos Network has no benefits for providing fake news as the plaintiff claiming as the company's main goal is to reveal nothing but the truth.

Why would Street wise news supervisory staff reach out to The Los Santos Network CEO to threat?

StreetWise News v. The Los Santos Network

To the Honourable Court ,

Section I, Article I: The Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution protection for free speech shall not reach, as far as immunity is concerned, false and defamatory statements. The Los Santos Network (TLSN) has made grievous and unproven allegations against StreetWise News (SWN), including the words "corruption in coverage" and "lack professionalism". They have indeed wronged SWN.

The above-mentioned repeated defamatory act by TLSN has been showing as reckless disregard for the truth and malice towards SWN, notwithstanding previous legal efforts to curtail TLSN's defamation. These claims do not serve an interest to the public, nor do they intend to harm the reputation of SWN with proper journalistic integrity.

This is clearly conduct not protected by the First Amendment, and TLSN must be made accountable for the damages that its false statements have caused.

Thank you.

Honorable court,

The presented evidence by the plaintiff is invalid, The article was removed directly once Streetwise News supervisory staff requested.
The article that was published was built on their own announcements. here are some of them:
**Darius would be shuffling the papers, grabbing one of them.**
Streetwise news announcement
.
**Darius would be grabbing another paper.**
announcement by Streetwise news
Honorable judge, It is not acceptable to call people by their Skin tone we're all humans. This announcement contains false information, baseless, and racial.
Racial announcement
By looking at the left side of the article, there's no need to explain any further about this.

Objection,

Your Honour, the TLSN brought proof that the statement was allegedly made that "The LS Blacks are 50% homosexual" by SWN. Such proof, however, is irrelevant to the case and does not in any way support or answer the damage done by the material they published in defamation.

The statement, regardless of origin, has been betrayed by TLSN in a malicious manner with baseless accusations of "corruption" and "bias" against SWN. They have substantially injured SWN's reputation through such reckless reporting, and nothing, not even withdraw post-publication, can erase the damage done.

This, proof of TLSN here does not tend to prove its defense from the criminal defamatory context to which it has subjected that statement. I pray the court to hold them liable for such acts.
