The Los Santos Network, henceforth the Defendant, counseled by
State Licensed Attorney Elliot Reynolds, is deemed as sufficient and removes any possibility for summary dismissal.
I. FINDINGS
The news that were published by The Los Santos Network is valid, the company is deemed responsible for the publishing, by allowing their own employee whilst being a Trainee to post publicly.
The career of the Trainee Journalist Jonathan Hobbs on the San Andreas Police Department is irrelevant, as the matter is against the Los Santos Network company. Therefore that statement is dismissed.

Communicating statements or performing actions that differ from the truth, causing the offended party's reputation, honour or prestige to be harmed.
The Court will not tolerate any act that harms the person whether it is true or false, despite having certain company policy, the Court will not take into consideration that the act is within the boundaries, the company is responsible to their own employments, the act also came out of Mr. Jonathan Hobbs, as representative not just an employee. The company will be held liable for such act and orders the following.
II. RULING
The Court finds Mr. Jonathan Hobbs
GUILTY.
The Court finds The Los Santos Network
PARTIALLY GUILTY.
- Mr. Jonathan Hobbs is charged with Misdemeanor in a form of fine, a sum of 250,000$ to be paid to the Plaintiff.
- The Los Santos Network is fined with $100,000 to be paid to the Plaintiff.
- A written email from the The Los Santos Network sent to the Plaintiff, apologizing in regards to the news published.
- The Defendant is given a period of seven days to fulfill the fine in the 1st & 2nd point, an amount of 10% interest is added for every 24 hours passed after the time limit is over in case the Defendant's haven't paid the fine.
- The defendant can pay the fine whenever they want within the given time limit to the Hon. District Judge Kira Hernandez's bank account (Private Account) ID#696 or directly to the Plaintiff's Attorney (Private Account) account ID#TBA.
- The time stated in the 3rd point starts from 29th of December 2024 17:30 CET and ends at the 5th January 2025 17:30 CET. Failure to abide by the date will result in issuing a warrant to seize the properties and/or increasing the debts of the Defendant's net-worth to pay the fine.
