CLOSING STATEMENT
Your Honor, this case reveals how an act of clear journalist integrity has been breached. Moreover, the defendant's wrong statement has not only violated my client's reputation but has also undermined the trust placed in responsible reporting by the general public.

These facts leave little doubt that the defendant acted in a reckless and unprofessional manner. For the first time, the court has an opportunity to affirm the importance of accountability and to ensure that this misconduct does not go unanswered.

We trust in the court's judgment to uphold justice in this matter. Thank you.

CLOSING STATEMENT

Your Honor,

This case clearly shows that Jonathan Hobbs acted independently and without authorization from TLSN when he made the statement about Mrs. Lynch. His actions violated our strict professional guidelines, and TLSN should not be held accountable for his personal error.

We respectfully ask the court to dismiss the claims against TLSN and hold Mr. Hobbs personally responsible for his actions.

Thank you.
