3. SKILLS AND MOTIVATION
- Personality Traits: I would describe myself as calm, respectful and responsible. I try to stay professional when dealing with civilians, supervisors and other officers, even when a situation becomes stressful. One of my strengths is that I can work well with a team and follow instructions when needed. I am also willing to learn from my mistakes instead of repeating them. One weakness I have is that sometimes I can be a little too focused on explaining my side of a situation, but I am working on being more patient and listening first.
- Skills and Abilities: I have previous law enforcement roleplay experience, including traffic stops, pursuits, radio communication and dealing with different situations in the field. I was previously a PO1, so I already have some experience with police procedures and working with other officers. I am also a good team player, I can communicate clearly on the radio, and I am willing to learn the specific procedures used by SASD
- Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Sheriff's Department? I want to join the San Andreas Sheriff's Department because I think it is a good opportunity for me to continue my law enforcement experience and improve my roleplay. I am interested in SASD because of its different responsibilities, especially county patrols, traffic enforcement, responding to calls and dealing with criminal situations.
I previously served in SAPD as a PO1, which gave me some experience with law enforcement and taught me how important communication, teamwork and professionalism are. I want to take what I learned there and use it in SASD while also learning the department's own rules and procedures.
I am not joining just because I want a badge or a rank. I want to become a reliable deputy who can work well with other members and be trusted by supervisors. I am willing to attend training, learn the state law, follow the chain of command and improve when I make mistakes.
I also like that SASD has many different responsibilities and divisions that I could potentially work toward in the future. For now, my main goal is to start as a good deputy, learn how the department works and gain more experience. If I get accepted, I will do my best to stay active, follow the regulations and represent SASD in a professional way. - What do you hope to contribute to the San Andreas Sheriff's Department? I hope to contribute my previous law enforcement experience, activity and teamwork. Since I was previously a PO1, I already have some experience with traffic stops, pursuits, radio communication and working with other officers. I would like to use that experience to help my fellow deputies when needed while continuing to learn from higher ranks. I also want to be an active and reliable member who follows the department rules and contributes to a good environment within SASD.
