My interest in joining the Coast Guard stems from my desire for new experiences. This is also driven by my experience as a police volunteer, where I was involved in pursuit of suspects fleeing by boat or swimming into rough seas. Therefore, I want to enforce the law against anyone engaging in illegal activities at sea, whether destroying evidence at sea or committing robbery in maritime areas where officers are rarely patrolled.
Generally, the Coast Guard is a law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over maritime areas. The USCG is tasked with protecting the marine environment, securing maritime areas, and playing a role in search and rescue operations in maritime areas.
That's why I want to join this agency. I want to learn more about the agency and learn important lessons that not everyone can learn.
Above all, my motivation is to learn new skills so I can share them with others and foster a sense of security in the community, especially among sailors.

I am an American man of African descent. I am an optimistic person in many ways and possess the leadership qualities to take charge of a special operation. Behind all that, humans are inherently flawed. My only flaw is that I can't escape the responsibilities I carry. In other words, I can't just sit still.
